Tamannaah Bhatia Says No, Pooja Hegde Gets A Call: What’s The Deal?
Tamannaah Bhatia kicked something that has gone straight to the Mohenjo Daro gal Pooja Hegde. Will Pooja bite the bait? Lagta toh nahin hai, but you never know. Bollywood mein kuch bhi ho sakta hai.
On December 25, we told you that Nikkhil Advani’s
film starring John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee has a hazy future due to lack of
a funder. After
Bhushan Kumar’s dismissing off the venture, the director approached the
T-Series’ head honcho’s former employee Ajay Kapoor who parted ways with
Bhushan rather acrimoniously. We told you that Ajay is however yet to embrace
Nikkhil on it.

Now, looks like the film in question which is supposed to
be directed by Milap Zaveri. is facing another roadblock. SpotboyE.com has it
that the makers approached Tamannaah Bhatia to essay the lead role in the
project. However, she declined the offer. The team then approached Ashutosh
Gowariker's discovery Pooja Hegde (who played Hrithik Roshan's leading lady in
Mohenjo Daro) and things seem to be ambiguous on that front as well.

Says a source, “Pooja is in talks with Milap. However,
she is yet to give her final word.”

If Pooja too doesn’t come on-board, Team Advani will have
to spend still more time looking for the heroine of the film, which in turn
will add to their woes of getting a producer. Word is, the hunt for the leading
lady has been going on since quite some time- but in vain.
Ajay Kapoor And Bhushan Kumar
In case Pooja doesn’t sign the film, this would be the
second time she has turned a project down. Earlier, the actress had said
‘No’ to Faruk Kabir’s next opposite Sooraj Pancholi.
Well, let’s wait and watch to find out which heroine
eventually signs on the dotted line.
