A few days back, the makers of Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji unveiled the poster of the film. While fans couldn’t help but appreciate the poster, netizens has found a reason to troll the makers. As soon as the official poster featuring Saif and Ajay dropped online, makers received backlash for not using the correct spelling of Tanaji. A few suggest them to change the spelling to the film, while others said that Ajay should do home work before making the movie.

A user wrote, “Shri @ajaydevgn it is Tanaji not Tanhaji . Tanha in marathi means toddler , pls don't demean our revered warrior with wrong spelling. @priyankac19 @ShivSena.” Retweeting on the same tweet other wrote, “Even I thought the spelling was wrong, as I recall a history chapter in 4th grade about Sinhagad Fort and the Lion warrior "TANAJI" #ItsTANAJInotTanhaji” “I think it's astrology kind like addition devgn in place of devgan Extra h in tanaji” read another tweet. But for those who don’t know, Ajay Devgn and Saif starrer film was earlier titled Taanaji, but it was changed to Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior courtesy. It all happened when Ajay Devgn had tweeted announcing the shoot of the film, it was when the name of the title he mentioned in his tweet, caught our attention.

According to a report in Cine Blitz from March, the spelling of Taanaji was changed owing to numerology and astrological predictions. Numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi had revealed to Cine Blitz, "They (producers) often come to me for consultation for their film titles. We had suggested that now since the film is opening in 2020, they change the title."
