Taapsee Pannu, Ayushmann Khurrana's Building NOT SEALED, Resident Debina Bonnerjee Clears The Air- EXCLUSIVE
Sometime back, news of Taapsee Pannu's building in Goregaon West, which also is home to other actors from the industry, being sealed made its way to the Internet. We spoke to Debina Bonnerjee, also a resident of the smae building, to confirm the news
News that Taapsee Pannu, Ayushman Khurana, Pulkit Samrat's building in Goregaon West has been sealed by BMC made way to the Internet and soon created panic among their fans. We contacted Debina Bonnerjee, also a resident of the same building, to confirm if the news is true.
Debina revealed that their building has not been yet sealed by the BMC. The actress said, "The building is not sealed by BMC or anyone. On precautionary basis, we have decided to not step out of our houses for 5 days. The building we stay in is extremely good and they are taking all the safety measures. When the vendor was told to send the AC technicians, as many residents were complaining about it, he was told that all the technicians he will send will do their covid test and only if it will come negative we will send them to the respective houses to repair. They were quarantined in a safe area within our building premises, and that's where we did their test. Now, among them one has tested positive. So we immediately got in touch with the health authorities and he was sent for treatement.
The whole area has been sanitised. 4 watchmen, who came in contact with that technician during this process, have also been quarantined downstairs because our society is quite huge and we have enough space. Till the 5th floor, it's just parking, library, garden and then the residential flats start. Also, ever since the lockdown has been announced, that whole area is closed down. After 4 days their test will take place and will take the action as per the results."
Debina also added, "We are not panicking at the moment as our building authorities conveyed everything to us in detail. We could also see the Health authorities taking him away from our flats. It will be trouble for somedays as we can't go out to buy essentials as well. But I feel the decision taken by building is important as safety is priority right now. After 5 days it will be more relaxed. Thankfully, no one has been affected in the premises and that's why BMC has not sealed the building yet."
Actor Ramman Handa, who also resides in the same building, further said, "The building has not been sealed and the news is wrong. It's true an AC technician who visited our building has been detected corona positive but he was quarantined then and there and he hasn’t visited any house in the building. Everything is perfectly alright here."
Well, it's the same building which was in news after actor Sahil Khan created panic by posting a video on social media, wrongly claiming that two in his neighbourhood have tested positive. He had later appologised and deleted the post.
