During the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown, Kangana Ranaut resumed shooting for her upcoming biopic, Thalaivi. The actor completed most of her shooting in Hyderabad before the lockdown was imposed, however, she was in Manali to attend the wedding festivities of her cousins. After marking her presence, Kangana will be heading back to Hyderabad to finish the last schedule of Thalaivi. According to the film’s producer Shailesh R, he said that she will be joining them for the climax sequence along with the other portions of the film. While heading to Hyderabad, she bid a farewell to Himalayas by sharing some photos on her Instagram.
He was quoted as saying to Mid-Day, “We will be shooting the climax sequence along with the other portions of the film. Kangana will start shooting from today until December 10. Since things are more relaxed now we can pull off this crucial scene." Confirming the same, Kangana too shared some pictures of herself on her Instagram account where she is seen wearing a white trench coat with a skirt and boots. She rounded her look with a pair of reflectors.
Captioning those pictures, it read, "It’s never easy to say bye but time to say bye to my mountains, leaving for last schedule of Thalaivi to Hyderabad, post that cos of back to back filming commitments might not be back in Manali anytime soon but thank you Himalayas for giving me shelter in testing times"
Thalaivi is a biopic on Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, starring Kangana Ranaut and Arvind Swami. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and the film is scheduled to hit the big screens next year.
