The Sky Is Pink starring Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar among others is one highly-anticipated film, and, why not? It marks PeeCee’s comeback to Bollywood after two long years. As fans eagerly await the film’s release, the makers of it have now disclosed yet another adorable BTS video from the sets of The Sky Is Pink and it features the lovely Chaudhary family bonding like crazy. The clip also sees filmmaker Shonali Bose talking about the actors and that they all fit the bill perfectly. In the clip, the entire Chaudhary family i.e., Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf dancing like there’s no tomorrow and celebrating with the film’s entire crew, including the director. As the clip goes ahead, Shonali Bose opens up on her experience of shooting for the film and calls herself ‘lucky’. She was quoted as saying, “I was lucky that just like the Chaudhary family, my Sky Is Pink family, entire cast and crew, stood by the film with all their hearts. To bring this film alive, I could have not asked for a more perfect family”. The Sky Is Pink is based on the true story of Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker at the age of 14 after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. It was recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and Priyanka Chopra’s impressive performance received a standing ovation.
The Sky Is Pink is slated to hit the big screens on October 11, 2019.
