This Actor Has Walked Out Of A Film Due To Creative Differences With Co-Producer
John Abraham was supposed to begin shooting for Kriarj Entertainment’s next, being co-produced by Aamir (2008) and No One Killed Jessica (2011) director, Raj Kumar Gupta soon after wrapping up Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran, alongside Diana Penty. However, reports suggest that the actor, who was also backing the project – tentatively titled Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga -- has opted out of the film.

Reason? Creative differences with Gupta.

It is said that the film was supposed to go on floors next month, but now, it has been pushed to year-end. Also, Rajkummar Rao has been roped in to play the lead role.

However, since Rajkummar is currently sporting the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose look for Hansal Mehta's film, the makers will have to wait. Furthermore, Gupta, who was left in a spot after John's exit, has found a major studio to back his movie.

Raj Kumar Gupta told a leading daily, “I was co-producing the film with John. But we are not doing the film together now. I am making it with another studio.”

Meanwhile, John Abraham dropped the first poster of Parmanu- The Story Of Pokhran, which is based on the nuclear test conducted in Pokhran in 1998, yesterday. He captioned the image, “So happy to bring you the first look of my biggest test ever. #ParmanuFirstLook @johnabrahament @kriarj@ParmanuTheMovie (sic).”

The poster looks intense and gives us the barbarous feels. Directed by Abhishek Sharma and written by Saiwyn Quadros and Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh (the writers behind the hit Sonam Kapoor thriller Neerja), the venture hits theatres on December 8.
