Manisha Koirala is one of the most iconic actresses in Bollywood and she is labelled as the spitting image of Nargis Dutt, both in terms of appearance and talent throughout her acting career. However, while she was soaring towards the pinnacle of her career, Manisha’s personal life was in shambles.
The 53-year-old actress is highly acclaimed for movies such as 1942: A Love Story, Bombay, Agni Sakshi, Gupt, Dil Se and more. While Manisha may have won millions of hearts through her work, she sure did get her own heart broken a couple of times.

Manisha Koirala tied the knot with a Nepali businessman, Samrat Dahal, in 2010. He was reported to be seven years younger than Manisha, but it was never an issue for the once madly-in-love couple, who had become each other’s forever, in an intimate-traditional wedding ceremony in Kathmandu.
The couple even kept mum about their relationship and marriage, due to which people had labelled their wedding as an arranged marriage.
Unfortunately, their love could not withstand the test of time!
Following a few weeks after their marriage, Manisha revealed that she met Samrat on Facebook and was instantly drawn to him. While it may seem like a fairytale love story of sorts, of course, their marital bliss did not last long.
Following six months of their wedding, Manisha took to her Facebook handle and penned a note, sharing the details of her marriage which only sent shockwaves across the internet, leaving fans confused about her personal life. She wrote, "My husband has become my enemy. How much worst can it become for a women."
Finally, Manisha and Samrat filed for divorce in 2012, and this time parting ways forever. This was also the year when Manisha was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer.
With her personal life in shambles and her health taking a turn for the worst, she still managed to stay strong and finally beat cancer.
