Well, the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor's dating history hasn't been hidden from anyone. Reportedly, Ranbir has dated a streak of his co-stars like Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Mahira Khan. The actor, at present, is seeing his Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt and the latter often blesses our social media feeds with some adorable PDA. And while all of this information is available in the public domain, did you know that the Tamasha actor's first-ever date was pretty forgetful?
It was some time ago that Ranbir Kapoor, on the sets of a TV show, revealed how the girl, whom he went on his first date with, started crying in a corner and when he went to her and asked what's wrong, she said she doesn't trust him. "Main wahaan gaya, hero ke jaise, aur bola (I went there, like a hero, and asked), ‘Why are you crying?’ She said, ‘Because I don’t trust you'." said the actor. He was, obviously, shocked with her response, but handled the situation smoothly. Ranbir added, "Wahaan main kuch hakka bakka ho gaya. Mujhe pata nahi tha ki main kya bolun. Trust matlab kaise paaun? Toh maine seedha haath bahar nikaala aur bola (I was a little bewildered. I did not know what to say and how to gain her trust, so I stretched my hand out towards her and asked), ‘Now do you trust me?’ That was my first date,” he said.
Upon being asked what happened next, he laughed and said, "Uske baad woh kabhi mere saath date pe nahi gayi (She never went on a date with me after that).” OOPS!
