Barring a cameo in Mela (2000), Aishwarya Rai has never worked with Aamir Khan on celluloid. The two, however, had once done a stage show together, where they danced to some popular tracks and also mouthed some of the choicest famous dialogues.
And now, a few videos from the aforementioned stage show have started trending on social media.
In the first video, you can see Aamir and Aishwarya get into the shoes of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol to dance on the popular Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge song, Tujhe Dekha Toh.
Here's another video where Aamir and Aishwarya are seen having a funny banter on stage.
Aamir seems to be recreating his tapori Mumbaikar character he played in Rangeela (1995) & Ghulam (1998).
After seeing so much heat on stage between the two, we wonder why this jodi was never cast together in any films!
Currently, Aishwarya's Fanney Khan, also starring Anil Kapoor has received decent reviews. The film, which also stars Anil Kapoor & Rajkummar Rao, released today.
Aamir, on the other hand, has been spending some quality time with his family after finishing Thugs Of Hindostan. He is also hunting for a leading man to portray the character of Gulshan Kumar in his biopic in Mogul - a film which he is co-producing with T-Series. It is being said that after Thugs Of Hindostan releases, Aamir will begin work on his dream project of remaking the Mahabharata, which is a project spanned over 10 years.
