Neelam Kothari and Chunky Panday's jodi was a hit back then. They were one of the most-loved on-screen pairs. The duo, who share a great camaraderie off-screen, starred together in many films like Paap Ki Duniya, Aag Hi Aag, Ghar Ka Chirag and more. During a recent interview, Chunky got candid as he recalled an incident that took place on the sets of their film Aag Hi Aag.
Speaking to ETimes, Chunky Panday shared how the actress once got badly hurt because of him. He shared, 'When Pahlaj Nihalani told me that my first film (Aag Hi Aag) was opposite Neelam, I went mad. Neelam was a teenage sensation back then. So, I told him mujhe sab kuch chalana aata hai - bike, car, ghoda. Now, in one of the scenes, I had to escape with her from a mandap, and I dropped her off a bike. She badly burnt her leg. I apologised profusely, but she was a brave girl. It did not take long for her to take it in her stride.'
As many are aware, Chunky Panday's wife Bhavana is good friends with the actress and they both starred together in Karan Johar's web show 'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives'. The first season was a hit among the masses.
On the other hand, Neelam Kothari recently made an appearance on the dance reality show 'Super Dancer 4' along with Govinda. Talking about the same, Chunky told ETimes, 'That episode was fab. I loved watching it. Neelam always made a special pair with Govinda but I wish I had also gone, we would have made a great love triangle,' adding 'off-screen' after a pause.
