If reports are to be believed, Ajay Devgn and Raveena Tandon were dating each other after starring together in ‘Dilwale’. Their relationship was the talk of the town back in those days until Ajay reportedly dumped her after falling in love with Karisma Kapoor. It is being said that after their alleged split, Ajay and Raveena got involved in a war of words and made derogatory statements against each other in the media. Not just that, Raveena was left so heartbroken after their breakup that she reportedly attempted suicide.
While the actress in many media interviews claimed to have dated Ajay, the actor called her a ‘born liar.’ The Singham actor denied their relationship claims and advised Tandon to consult a psychiatrist. The Dulhe Raja actress even stated she owes letters as proof of their relationship but Ajay strongly reacted to this by asking her to publish those letters. Talking about the actress’s suicide attempt, the Golmaal actor called it a publicity gimmick. In an interview, Ajay branded Raveena a born liar and said, “Everyone knows that she is a born liar, that’s why her silly statements don’t upset me too much. But, this time she has gone too far, she has crossed the limits of decency. It’s high time I gave her some advice. This girl must go to a psychiatrist immediately to get her head examined. Otherwise, she will land up in a lunatic asylum. I’m quite willing to accompany her to the shrink’s office.”
Post her split with Ajay, Raveena Tandon found love in actor Akshay Kumar on the sets of their film Mohra. The duo dated and even got engaged for a brief period however, later they broke off their engagement and parted ways. In 2004, the Akhiyon Se Goli Maare actress got married to businessman Anil Thadani in two ceremonies, traditional Punjabi and Sindhi style.
