THROWBACK! When Sanjay Khan’s Wife Zarine Khan Adressed Rumours About His Affair; Shares, ‘There Were Lots Of Women, But He Was Always Mine’
Sanjay Khan and his wife Zarine Khan addressed rumours of his alleged affairs with co-stars during an interview with Simi Garewal

In one such unfiltered episode, Sanjay Khan and his wife Zarine Khan opened up about the rumours regarding his affairs with his female leads. While talking to Simi, Zarine revealed that it was always the people who thought her marriage was in trouble, not her. Agreeing to his wife the filmmaker had shared that he loved his wife and children deeply. Talking about their relationship, he said, "It was never under threat, I loved my wife and children deeply, and if it was taken for granted by someone then that was another story, because there was no such thing from my side."
When Zarine was pregnant with her youngest son, actor Zayed Khan, there were rumours about Sanjay Khan allegedly having an affair with one of his leading ladies. It was widely speculated that the actress was Zeenat Aman.
When Simi probed further, the actor denied all allegations. His wife shared that she had faith in him. She expressed that being an actor’s wife is a tough job that needs patience and strength. She went on to assure that while there were many actresses who fell for Khan’s charm, he always belonged to her. She said, "I knew my husband, maybe he did falter a bit, but then again being an actor’s wife you have got to have that much of patience and the strength and the conviction to know that he is gonna come back to you. The children were too young to know what was going on. I assure you that was not the first woman to have fallen for him, there were lots of women, but he was always mine."
For the unversed, the duo tied the knot in 1966, when Zarine was 20 and Sanjay was 25. They are proud parents of four kids: Farah Khan Ali, Simone Arora, Sussanne Khan and Zayed Khan.
