Sherlyn Chopra is once again making headlines for her MeToo allegations against filmmaker Sajid Khan, who is currently a contestant in Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 16. She recently got into a spat with Rakhi Sawant as the duo is continuously mocking each other in front of the paparazzi.
With her being in the limelight so much, let's visit a time when Sherlyn had openly admitted to having paid sex. In 2012, Sherlyn had confessed in a series of tweets that she had been contacted many times for paid sex and had agreed to it so that she could earn money easily. Her blatant confession had left the media and the audience in shock. As per India Today, she had written "The confessions of 'just a girl'-Dear all,before I proceed,let me make it very clear that the intent of sharing the following confessions...is not to create public sympathy OR to raise eyebrows OR to project myself as a 'bad girl gone good'....itz just to state a few facts.......I've been receiving contact numbers on my twitter handle n on contact@sherlynchopra.com of those who wish 2 enjoy.....physical intimacy with me at a price....In the past,on various occasions,I've had sex 4 money...out of all my past experiences of paid sex,there's not a single one that I remember."
Four years after the tweets that went viral, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, she shared that during her initial days in the modelling business, she dated a lot of older guys who would pamper her silly with expensive gifts. She later realised that those relationships lacked genuine care, concern, respect, and love. Talking about her intent behind the confession on Twitter, she said, "The intent behind my 'confession' was to introduce the born-again Sherlyn to the world by finding closure to her past. According to reports from that time, her tweet seemed planned, as it came after Poonam Panday had confessed to her raunchy adventures on Twitter because she craved limelight and had no godfather in the industry.
