Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are one of the loved onscreen pairs in Bollywood. Their upcoming film Tiger 3 is the most anticipated movie of next year as fans are awaiting to see them together. The duo was last seen together in the 2019 film Bharat. Tiger 3 is scheduled to release next year. As per the report, the third installment of the Tiger franchise will not be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. In a recent interview, he revealed the reason behind not directing the third part f the film.
While speaking to PTI, Ali Abbas Zafar mentioned that he has other commitments which need to be fulfilled. He even said that the shooting schedule and dates were clashing. He was quoted saying, “Adi (producer Aditya Chopra) is like an elder brother. When the third part of ‘Tiger’ was happening I had some engagements that I was committed to. Our timelines couldn’t match. But I think Maneesh, who is taking the franchise forward, will do justice to it. Kabir Khan, me and now Maneesh, all of us brought our individuality to the films we made. I am looking forward to ‘Tiger 3’. I think it will be very entertaining. I am happy.”

He further talked about collaborating with the Dabangg Khan for the fourth time. He asserted, “Inshallah, Salman sir and I will come together to do a big-budget quintessential Indian entertainer. I want to do a big action film with him. It is something I am working on and I will share (the script) with him soon.”
For the unversed, the 40 years old director helmed Tiger Zinda Hai, the second installment of the Tiger franchise which was produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The first part ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was directed by Kabir Khan. Now, Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra. The action-packed entertainer is scheduled to release on April 21, 2023 during Eid.
