Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starring Tiger film franchise has garnered a massive fan base. After releasing two instalments of the film, the makers are gearing up for part 3. The Tiger franchise is huge and has also done well at the box-office. With the third part in the making, it was recently reported that Emraan Hashmi is roped in to play the role of a villain in the Tiger film franchise. While there is a strong buzz around Emraan starring in the film, the actor recently reacted to reports of him being a part of the film.
At a recent event, Emraan Hashmi was questioned about Tiger 3. Answering the question, the actor said he does not know and asked the question back. He said, “I don’t know. Am I a part of it? I’m hearing this news of me doing the film from the media. The talks are on. Ask Tiger if I’m doing the film or not.” Emraan revealed the talks are on, but asked the interviewer to ask “Tiger” if he is doing the film.
Meanwhile, a source close to the development revealed details about Emraan Hashmi’s involvement in the film. The source told ETimes, “YRF felt that Emraan fits the role as a T. He is a fine, intense actor and that quality won him the role. Emraan is beefing up for the role. He always had an athletic body, but this time he’s going to be all bulked up. “ The insider also revealed that Emraan will start training for the role and mentioned there will be some “massively choreographed, hand-to-hand combat scenes between him and Salman Khan”. The source in the report shared that the actor will be training in martial arts too.

On the work front, Emraan Hashmi will be seen in the film Mumbai Saga next. He will be playing the role of a cop in the gangsta Vs cop drama. The movie also features John Abraham, Mahesh Manjrekar, Suniel Shetty and Kajal Aggarwal. Mumbai Saga’s trailer released today. And, the film is scheduled to release on March 19, in theatres.
