Tiger-Shraddha’s Baaghi lands in legal trouble

SpotboyE had told you how Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor’s Baaghi had striking similarities with Indonesian action thriller The Raid: Redemption (Baaghi vs The Raid: Redemption – Tiger admits, director refutes similarities, Mar 16).
Now, filmmaker Guneet Monga has dragged the film’s producers Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur to the court over the same.
Monga’s argument is that the remake rights of The Raid: Redemption lie with her production house, Sikhya Entertainment and the Tiger-Shraddha film borrows heavily from the Indonesian action thriller.
A legal notice was sent to Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur a month ago.
The hearing is due in the High Court tomorrow morning.
