On the 5th anniversary of Amazon Prime Video, Kangana Ranaut announces her film ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ with Nawazuddin Siddiqui
A while ago, Kangana Ranaut had announced her next produced film Tiku Weds Sheru starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur under her production house Manikarnika Films. Now that the film has wrapped its shoot, the makers have decided to release it directly on the OTT platform. Yesterday, on the grand celebration of Amazon Prime's fifth anniversary, Kangana introduced her film's release on Prime Video.
Announcing the film at Amazon Prime Video's event, Kangana Ranaut said, “Tiku Weds Sheru is a COVID baby. When this movie was conceptualized, I was suffering from COVID, too. But the team from Amazon Prime Video made the making of this film an absolute breeze. This is a momentous occasion because, back in 2008, on April 28, I made my debut with Gangster and 14 years later, I am making my debut as a producer. It feels great to have had this journey."
The Queen actress completed 14 years in the industry. She made her debut with Anurag Kashyap's Gangster which was released on 28th April 2008. While announcing the same, the Queen actress took her Instagram handle and shared a few pictures of her with the caption, “Sixteen years ago on this day 28th April 2006 Gangster released and I started my journey as an actor… today on 28th April 2022 while celebrating @primevideoin fifth anniversary we launched @manikarnikafilms first production Tiku weds Sheru … and today I officially start my journey as a producer… many thanks to @primevideoin for this opportunity… Missed @nawazuddin._siddiqui and @avneetkaur_13.”
Meanwhile, Kangana will next be seen in Dhaakad and the trailer of the film will be released today i.e. on 29th April. Recently, the actress shared the motion poster of Dhaakad in which Ranaut looked absolutely intriguing with her bold look.
