Towel Series Continues! Katrina Kaif Shares An Adorable Photo Of ‘Mummy’ Farah Khan From Sets
After sharing a photo with Akshay Kumar, here comes another photo of Katrina Kaif from her towel series and this time it features her on screen mummy, Farah Khan
The news of Tip Tip Barsa Paani getting recreated for Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi has completely swooned the audience. The excitement level of fans has raised a notch higher. And to maintain the hype, Katrina shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the sets of Sooryavanshi in which she was seen posing with Akshay Kumar, wrapped in towels, implying the shoot of the song has begun. Now, continuing her ‘towel series’, the actress shared another picture today and this time with her ‘mummy’ Farah Khan.
In the picture, Kaif is seen posing next to the filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan, wrapped in towels. The caption reads, “Me and mummmmyyyyy together after soooooooo long love u the bestest best #sooryavanshi #towelseries.” To which Farah also replied, "My kat is the best! No nakhras n fully mad". Talking about the song, a source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, “The reprised version is composed by Tanishq Bagchi while Farah Khan has come on board to choreograph Akshay and Katrina’s moves. It is a sensuous romantic song like the original, and Farah has already discussed her vision of the track with Rohit. Since Akshay and Katrina are teaming up after almost a decade, the idea is to give a different spin to their chemistry.”
SpotboyE.com got talking to Raveena Tandon also about the news of her career’s popular track. “Sounds Superb, I love new remixes,” said a cool Raveena about her ex, Akshay recreating their hot number with Katrina. Even Akshay had expressed his thoughts on the reprised version by taking to Twitter and writing, “I would’ve definitely been disappointed if any other actor would’ve recreated Tip Tip Barsa Paani,a song which has been synonymous with me & my career & I can’t thank Ratan Jain ji enough. At times like these you realize, we may have come a long way but we also go back a long way.” As the tweet had no mention of Raveena in it, Akshay was trolled incessantly as netizens were quick to remind him that Raveena Tandon was the real star of the track.
The film is was earlier to clash with Salman Khan-Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah, but the makers rescheduled its release to avert the clash and now it will release on March 27, 2020.
