Shweta Tiwari’s darling daughter, Palak, is quite a social media sensation. The teenager boasts of a whopping 88.1k followers on Instagram and one look at her profile is enough to tell you that she is ready to take the silver screen by storm.
In fact, there is strong buzz that Palak will make her Bollywood debut opposite Taare Zameen Par actor, Darsheel Safary, in a film titled Quickie.
Now, here’s some scoop from an audition she was asked to be part of.
While Palak’s glamorous pictures have grabbed several eyeballs, looks like the snaps caught the attention of the Deol family as well. For, SpotboyE.com has it that she was called to audition for the leading lady’s role opposite Sunny Deol’s son, Karan Deol’s debut film – rumoured to be titled Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.
Sunny Deol's Son Karan
Says a source, “Deols auditioned over 200 girls for the heroine’s part. They were impressed with Palak’s photographs on social media and were keen that she auditions for the role.”
But, Palak failed to turn up.
“Team Sunny was bewildered with no response from her end. There was no reason why she would show no interest in a film being made under Vijeta Films lead by veteran actor, Dharmendra. They waited a while before settling on Saher Bamba,” adds the source.
Why did Palak skip the audition? Well, your guess is as good as ours.
Talking about the project, the Deol Khandaan is extremely involved with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. They are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a fab launch of the Deol kid.
As far as Karan Deol is concerned, he has been brushing up all skills that are required to become a star in Bollywood.
Coming back to Palak, we wonder if she had second thoughts after she let the opportunity slip by.
