Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and his family recently jetted off to the Maldives for a short beach holiday. After touching down in the beautiful island country, the Sooryavanshi actor shared a picture with his beloved wife Twinkle Khanna and said that they are grateful for the getaway. Twinkle also shared some pictures with Akshay recently, giving a sneak-peek into their fun-filled vacation. As they get ready to come back home, on the last day in the Maldives, Twinkle Khanna made a heartfelt post and revealed what was the ‘best part’ of her holiday.
The Mrs Funnybones author shared a picture with her dearest sister Rinke Khanna. She shared the picture and revealed that the ‘best part’ of her Maldives holiday was meeting her sister after almost a year and a half. Twinkle shared that this has been the longest the Khanna sisters have been apart in four decades. In the picture, Twinkle and Rinke are spotted standing by the background of the sea. The picture sees Twinkle posing wearing a big hat, while Rinke is hiding her face with hers. The author shared the photo, with the caption, “The best part of this holiday? Meeting my sister after a year and a half. The longest we have been apart in four decades. #KhannaSisters”

Meanwhile, on Monday, Akshay Kumar shared a video of himself. The actor revealed that at his daughter Nitara’s request, he tried sliding down the water pool, into the ocean sitting on her ‘fishy’ tube. In the video, Akshay slides down the pool and dives into the ocean with the fish-shaped tube. Sharing the video, the Mission Mangal actor mentioned that his daughter Nitara had a good laugh while he slides down into the ocean.
