Vikram, whose last film Love Games starring Patralekha, ran into rough weather with the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification), is unable to figure out what was bothering the Board so much that they had ordered 89 cuts in the film, which he describes as one 'that wanted to expose the menace of drugs but ended up exposing much more."
Udta Punjab's producer Ekta Kapoor has lauded Vikram and rated his piece as the best review on her film after it hit theatres on Friday, June 17.
