Saiyami Kher made her Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Mirzya, opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor. The debut did not fly too high as the actress expected it to, however, recently Saiyami has left a mark on the OTT platform with her choices.
Saiyami was nominated in the Best Actress category on OTT platform for her film Choked and her last film, Unpaused has also been garnering great reviews. We got talking to Saiyami about her diverse selection of roles, her aspiration to become an actress and more. Watch the video below:
Amidst our conversation, we asked the actress if fashion and glamour of the industry sometimes overshadows the real talent, and Saiyami agreed with it. "I wish people put in as much effort in their craft as much they put in their various looks like airport looks, gym looks etc. I understand you are a celebrated person but whatever you wear will look good. For eg, Deepika in a normal white ganji and jeans looks great too," said the actress.
Saiyami also shared why she likes to keep a low profile and is not the paparazzi favourite. All this and much more in the candid chat above.
The Mirzya actress will soon be seen in a Telugu film, Wild Dog, with Nagarjuna, Dia Mirza and Atul Kulkarni.
