Urvashi Rautela starrer Virgin Bhanupriya’s title was
decided in an online poll. The makers floated three tentative titles including
Virgin Bhanupriya, Goodluck Bhanupriya and Bhanupriya, on social media. The
netizens took a fancy to the first one, and that’s how the film’s title came
about.
However, the storyline of the film never came out.
Yesterday, we got a call from the film’s producer Mahendra Dhariwal, who chose
to reveal film’s storyline to SpotboyE.com.

He says, “It’s a rip roaring comedy. Urvashi plays
Bhanupriya in the film, a demure and bespectacled nerdy girl, quite contrary to
her on-screen image. Her father wishes for her to get married at the soonest.
Desperate to know when her daughter will tie the knot, the father consults a
pandit. The godman’s hilarious yet disappointing observation – Bhanupriya will
get married, but she will never lose her virginity – forms the crux of the
story.”

“Urvashi enters into frivolous relationships with
men, one after the other, in a quest to lose her virginity. But somehow, she’s
unable to consummate. Just when Urvashi is about to make out, something goes
awfully wrong... and this happens every single time. One especially funny
episode is when Urvashi and her boyfriend take off to Goa and things are leading
up to an intimate situation, just when the boy breaks the news that he’s gay,”
seals Dhariwal with a laugh.
