Vaibhav Rekhi’s Ex-Wife Sunaina Rekhi On His Wedding With Dia Mirza: ‘It’s Nice That My Daughter Samaira Has More Family’

Bollywood actress Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi tied the knot on February 15 in Mumbai, and pictures and videos from their wedding ceremony are still going viral on social media. It was an intimate wedding ceremony with just their families and close friends present. This was both Dia, and Vaibhav’s second marriage. Vaibhav was previously married to wellness expert Sunaina Rekhi, and they have a daughter together Samaira. Samaira was seen at the wedding, walking Dia Mirza down the aisle, with ‘Papa’s Girls’ written on the placard. Now, Vaibhav’s ex-wife Sunaina has reacted to his wedding with Dia Mirza, and said that she is glad her daughter Samaira has more family.
Sunaina Rekhi shared a video on her Instagram stories, in which she can be seen saying that her daughter Samaira is very excited. “I’m Sunaina Rekhi. You must’ve heard my name, and if not, now it’s all over the news. Yes, my ex-husband has gotten married to Dia (Mirza) and I’ve been getting a lot of DMs and WhatsApps to ask if I’m okay, if Samaira and I are fine. Thank you for feeling I’m your own and for your concern. We are perfectly fine, not just fine, but my daughter is very excited. I saw some videos where she was throwing flowers. It’s a really nice extension for her. We don’t have any family in Bombay, so it’s nice that she has more family. It’s always nice to create more expansion in your lives,” said Sunaina.
She further said that it’s important for a child to see love in their lives. “If Samaira couldn’t see that kind of love between her father and her mother, when she was younger, at least she sees that love now.”Sunaina Rekhi then said that she is very happy for Vaibhav Rekhi and Dia Mirza.
