Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt Return To Mumbai

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, who were touring the US as part of the Dream Team tour along with Sidharth Malhotra, Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan Johar and Badshah, have returned to the city and were spotted at the international airport late last night.

The two had stayed back in the US for an ad shoot while their teammates had returned a few days earlier (Dream team members-Katrina, Siddharth & Karan return to the city of dreams!, Aug 24).
The duo does not have the time to unwind as they dive straight into the shoot of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. A delighted Alia Bhatt took to Twitter to announce her arrival. “City sweet city... Feels sooo good to be home & we're back to the grind immediately @ShashankKhaitan here I come!!!! #BadrinathKiDulhania,” she wrote.
While the buzz suggests that Badrinath Ki Dulhania is the sequel to Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), both Alia and Varun have rubbished the rumours. Reportedly, Badrinath… revolves around Badrinath, a boy from Jhansi, his ‘dulhania’ (bride) and the issues they go through.

Post Badrinath… Varun would begin working on Judwaa 2, which will be directed by his father, David Dhawan. The father-son duo had earlier worked together in Main Tera Hero (2014), which also featured Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri in pivotal roles.
Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, will next be seen in Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi. She shares screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in the film.
