Varun Dhawan Recreates Chachi 420 Moment With Anushka Sharma. The Sui Dhaaga Jodi Is On Fire!

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma aren't leaving any stone unturned to promote their upcoming film, Sui Dhaaga. The two stars launched the trailer yesterday, and it has gone viral since then. While many have varied opinions about the trailer, no one is denying the fact that Anushka and Varun have put in a great effort to bring the characters to life.

Now, promoting the film, a little while ago Anushka shared a picture of Varun and her, both sporting sarees. Check it out:

Along with the pic Anushka tweeted, "#DontAsk... @Varun_dvn @suidhaagafilm @SharatKatariya #ManeeshSharma #SuiDhaaga (sic)."

Well Anushka, we aren't asking, but it seems Varun has quite nicely managed to recreate the Chachi 420 moment. While Kamal Haasan's antics as a lady can't be ever matched, but Varun seems to have somewhat got the look and the pose correct.

Talking of the film, Anushka sports a deglam avatar for her character, Mamta. It is she who forces her husband, Mauji, the character played by Varun to leave a regular job and start something on his own. The film revolves around how the two see a journey of unemployed and turn it into self-employment. Fights against all odds the two manage to open up their own sewing shop and a business set-up thereby.

The film is a tribute to the handlooms industry in India. It is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Made In India campaign, and director Sharat Katariya has done quite a remarkable job. Sui Dhaaga is all set to release on September 28.
