Varun Dhawan & Shraddha Kapoor To Recreate Prabhudheva's Muqabala In Street Dancer 3D
Another Bollywood classic song becomes the new entrant in the list of remakes. This one is Prabhudeva's all-time classic, Muqabala Muqabala
The era of remakes doesn't seem to end anytime soon, it seems. This year, Bollywood has seen plenty of remake songs like Poster Lagwa Do, Paisa Yeh Paisa, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, to name a few. But if the recent reports are anything to go by, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Street Dancer 3D are all set to remake Prabhudheva's hit song Muqabala Muqabala.
The song will have Varun and Shraddha moving and grooving in it. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the two Bollywood stars will be seen in the remake of the song. The song will also feature Prabhudheva, who is set to join Varun and Shraddha as they recreate this '90s classic.
The original song which was composed by AR Rahman will be recreated and composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The report also revealed that the recreated version of Muqabala Muqabala has already been shot in Dubai with the cast of the film.
A source told the tabloid, "It was shot during the on-going Dubai schedule with Prabhudheva taking center stage for a minute-long solo performance, effortlessly repeating the difficult moves in a single take.” Producer Bhushan Kumar also confirmed the same, saying, "There’s a situation in the film where we see Prabhudheva showcase his dance moves and I knew we needed to bring ‘Muqabala’ back. The audience will be blown away by the choreography and will love the new version as much as the original.
