Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has made a name for himself in the industry with his physic and versatile performances. However, in recent years, he has been in the headlines for his inappropriate gestures and man-handling his female co-stars, despite being married to his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal. Recently, a video of the actor attending a Filmfare event went viral where he was seen touching his Bawaal co-star Janhvi Kapoor inappropriately.
Posted on the subreddit, Bolly Blinds N Gossip, Varun and Janhvi were seen posing for the paparazzi at the event. Dressed to the nines, the actors talked to each other. It is then seen that the actress subtly removes his hand from her waist. As she goes to exit the stage, the Badlapur actor grabs her arms. Janhavi then subtly removes his hands and walks away. Well, it is safe to say that this has not gone down well with the netizens. Taking to the comment section of the post, netizens immediately condemned the 36-year-old actor and his gestures. One wrote, “Yeah, she looks really uncomfortable and is getting away from him really fast.” Another wrote, “Bruh he even kept holding her hand when she was obviously trying to leave.” Other one wrote, “I knew a guy like this in school. Every girl knew he was very touchy-feely and if every girl is irked by your behaviour you're def a creep.” One commented, “Varun behaves most inappropriate among all male stars. This is not the first time, Varun has been called out for his weird behaviour with Janhavi. During the promotions of their film Bawaal, a video went viral, where he bit the actress’ ear while posing for a photoshoot. Netizens had taken the social media by storm and lashed out at him. Many even went as far as to call him creepy.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan has VD18, Citadel, co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Bhediya 2, a sequel to his 2022 horror comedy in his pipeline.
