Richa Chadha BASHES IndiGo Airline After Experiencing Repeated Delays in Flights: 'I Am Surprised Only One Person Got Physically Assaulted'
Highlighting persistent delays from a major airline, actor Richa Chadha expressed frustration on Wednesday, emphasizing the plight of common citizens in the face of a lack of accountability created by monopolies. Richa joins a growing list of film personalities sharing their air travel ordeals on social media. Recently, actors Radhika Apte, Surbhi Chandna, and Ranvir Shorey also criticized different airlines for various issues. ALSO READ: Indigo Passenger Hits Pilot After 13-Hour Delay: Sonu Sood Advocates For Self-Defence Training Programs As The Video Of Incident Goes Viral!

In a recent post, Richa shared that in the last three days, she took three flights with IndiGo, and two of them were delayed. Despite the delays, there was no immediate response from the airline. "On my 3rd flight in 3 days... Day 1, @IndiGo6E delayed by over 4 hours. Day 2, @IndiGo6E delayed by 4 hours. But the only direct flights on some routes are often Indigo. Day 3, international flight, no problem," she wrote. ALSO READ: IndiGo Fined With Rs 1.50 Crore; Mumbai Airport Penalise After Video Of Passengers Eating On The Tarmac Goes VIRAL- Reports

"Everyday citizens bear the brunt with no means of recourse. Until we acknowledge this, we'll continue to face disadvantageous situations and bear exorbitant costs. If we remain oblivious, we only have ourselves to blame, right?" she expressed. Richa also suggested that factors like fog in Delhi and a recent air show in Mumbai might have contributed to the airline's troubles. "On the 14th of Jan, there was an air show in Mumbai, resulting in the closure of the runway in the morning. Coupled with fog/smog in North India, the Delhi runway faced closures. Could this have created a ripple effect? Flights delayed nationwide, and staff stretched thin," she added.

Earlier this week, a video circulating on social media showed a passenger allegedly hitting an IndiGo pilot while he announced a delay in takeoff at the Delhi airport. The passenger was subsequently arrested by the Delhi Police. Addressing the incident, the Fukrey star expressed her surprise that only one person was physically assaulted given the heightened tempers. However, she clarified that she does not endorse or support violence.
