Veteran Bollywood actor Prem Chopra and his wife Uma have also been tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus. The veteran actor along with his wife has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital, Bandra, Mumbai for treatment. The two are recuperating under Dr. Jalil Parkar’s supervision. They have also received the monoclonal antibody cocktail and have been recovering. As reported in ETimes, the senior actor who is 86 years old has been recovering well and is also responding well to the treatment.
They are speculated to be discharged from the hospital in the upcoming one or two days. In the last year, the actor who was known to play grey roles in the Bollywood movies was conferred with Deenanath ‘Vishesh Puraskar’ for his contribution to the cinematic world at the recently held Deenanath Award in 2020. Though the actor last movie was in the year 2010, he was seen in a short role in the recently released movie, Bunty Aur Babli 2, where he played a truck driver, he shared screen space with Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji.

He penned in his INSTA Stories, “I came in contact 3 days ago with someone who I later learned had COVID. Priya and I have tested positive for COVID. We have been quarantined at home so haven't been in contact with anyone else. We are both vaccinated and experienced mild symptoms. Please stay well and healthy.
