Vicky Donor Actor Bhupesh Kumar Pandya Diagnosed With Stage 4 Lung Cancer; Manoj Bajpayee, Others Help Put Together Rs 25 Lakh For Treatment
Actor Bhupesh Kumar Pandya is diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Pandya is known for his stellar performances in the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Vicky Donor and Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi. As the Vicky Donor actor is diagnosed with cancer, he is in need of Rs 25 Lakh for his further treatment. With the actor undergoing treatment for his Lung cancer, Pandya’s colleagues, Manoj Bajpayee, Badhai Ho actor Gajraj Rao and other actors from the film industry extend their help and support to the actor’s family.

On Twitter, Manoj Bajpayee shared a link of a fundraiser started by one of Bhupesh Kumar Pandya’s classmate. Pandya’s classmate Kashish Agnihotri started the fundraiser to help the family for the actor's treatment. Sharing the link, Manoj Bajpayee tweeted, “Request all of you to step forward help out colleague Actor Bhupesh A Nsd graduate !!” The Family Man actor requested everyone to come forward and help his colleague, actor Bhupesh Kumar Pandya. Bajpayee also mentioned that Pandya is a National School of Drama graduate.

While Manoj Bajpayee sought help and extended his support to his dear colleague and friend, apart from the Family Man actor, Badhai Ho and Lootcase actor Gajraj Rao donate Rs 25,000, according to the website. As per the website ketto.org, the family has it done all it can to collect the total amount required for the treatment but Rs.2,500,000 or 33,964.84 dollar and more is required to pay for all of Pandya’s medical expenses. The description on the website further reads, “Bhupesh is a doting husband and a loving father of two young kids. Bhupesh is a talented actor and teacher, a national scholar from the prestigious National School of Drama, New Delhi and has worked in many movies, plays, and TV serials." Paatal Lok actor Rajesh Tailang also took to his Twitter to tweet about his colleague’s health.



Meanwhile,  in an interview with Times of India, Bhupesh’s wife Chhaya Pandya said, “Unfortunately, this is true, and my husband is suffering from stage IV cancer. He has undergone supportive care, palliative chemotherapy and palliative RT at Apollo Hospital of Ahmedabad.” Pandya’s wife mentioned that the actor is diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer and is admitted at Apollo Hospital in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad.
