Karan Johar, who has kept quiet even though the controversy surrounding his upcoming film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil reached its peak, has finally broken his silence on the matter. While single screens were already averse to the idea of showcasing the film , MNS's threatening message to the multiplex owners last night proved to be the final nail in the coffin (Oh No! MNS Gives A Final Warning To Multiplex Owners Days Before Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s Release,0ct 18 2016) and the filmmaker has vent his exasperation through a 106 second video.
KJo begins with expressing grief over being called an anti national and moves on to say that, nothing matters to him more than his country. However, an 'Indian' crew of 300 workers has put their blood, sweat and tears into making this film and it would be extremely unfair if the film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan fails to hit theatres.
