The actor had pointed out that not Aishwarya but Ariana looked like her. 

A video of the same has now gone viral on social media. In this old clip, the Dhamaka actor was seen in a group video call when Tanmay Bhatt read out a tweet that showed Aishwarya wearing a green dress with a high ponytail. The screen then popped a picture of Ariana wearing a green crop top along with her signature high ponytail. Reacting to this, Tanmay stated, ‘Aishwarya looked like Ariana in the picture’. However, Kartik thought the other way around. He mentioned rather Ariana looked like Aishwarya. And, notably, everyone agreed with the actor on this. Interestingly, this old video is doing rounds at a time when Aishwarya is making heads turns with her jaw-dropping looks at Cannes 2022. She is attending the prestigious film festival with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya.

The 48-year-old actress is slaying the Cannes red carpet with her stunning garb and style. Aishwarya recently stole the show as she walked the red carpet in a black one-shoulder Dolce & Gabbana gown with 3D floral panels trailing upwards to the shoulder.
