Imran Khan was spotted at an event with south actress Lekha Washington at an event in Mumbai, walking hand-in-hand with each other
Bollywood actor and filmmaker Imran Khan is known for keeping his personal life private. It’s been quite a few years since the actor quit Bollywood and maintains a low-profile life. He was last seen attending Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira’s engagement with Nupur Shikhare, which got the social media talking about his disappearance from Bollywood and his change in physic. He was recently spotted at an event in Mumbai alongside south actress Lekha Washington.
The pictures and videos of them spending time together at the event have now gone viral on social media and have sparked dating rumours yet again. For the unversed, the actors shared the screen, a decade ago, in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (2013). The movie also starred Pankaj Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles. In the videos that are now going viral, Imran can be seen showing off his arm tattoo in a black t-shirt that he paired with blue jeans. He completed his look with a brown sling bag. On the other hand Lekha looked pretty in her printed dress. The rumoured couple was seen strolling at the event holding each other’s hands. Fans couldn’t stop gushing over Imran's return to the spotlight.
For the uninitiated, Imran Khan, who made his debut with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008), got married to Avantika Malik in 2011. They also have a daughter named Imara. While the couple is yet to comment on their separation, rumours about trouble brewing in their marriage had started back in 2019. For a while the couple and their family members dismissed the rumours, however, it was Avantika’s cryptic posts on social media that acted as fuel to the fire.
On the work front, Imran has acted in credible movies like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Delhi Belly, I Hate Love Stories, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and Ek main Aur Ekk Tu. Last seen as an actor in Katti Batti alongside Kangana Ranaut, he made his directorial debut in 2018 with the short film Mission Mars: Keep Walking India.
