This year, IIFA Awards were held in Abu Dhabi's Etihad Arena of Yas Bay with the who's who of Bollywood in attendance. From superstar Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Nora Fatehi, and Ananya Panday to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, many celebs attended the award ceremony, which will soon air on Colors TV. Notably, a promo clip for the telecast showing Salman laughing uncontrollably has been shared on the official Instagram page of IIFA and it is now doing rounds on social media.
In the clip, the Sultan actor burst out laughing after host Maniesh Paul joked about rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and Guru Randhawa's sunglasses. Maniesh said, “Yo Yo Guru Randhawa and Honey Singh are sitting here wearing black sunglasses. They were welding before coming to the show.” And, just when he said this, Salman got up from his seat and hugged Maniesh. He was seen smiling. In fact, Riteish Deshmukh too was rolling on the floor laughing on the stage. Later, Khan, who shares a cordial relationship with both the singers, hugged Guru and Honey. Interestingly, both Hony Singh and Salman Khan also bonded well at the award ceremony as many pictures of them posing and laughing together surfaced on social media. The main event of IIFA, which was held on June 4, was hosted by Salman Khan, Maniesh, and Riteish Deshmukh. Farah Khan and Aparshakti Khurana hosted IIFA Rocks 2022 on June 3.
The glitzy award ceremony witnessed many scintillating performances by actors like Salman, Varun Dhawan, Tiger Shroff, Nora Fatehi, Abhishek Bachchan, Ananya, and others. The show will air on Saturday 25, 2022 at 8 pm on Colors TV.
