Ace director Vivek Agnihotri has been hitting the headlines ever since his film ‘The Kashmir Files’ was released. He has often put his opinion on Bollywood films not working at the box office, boycott Bollywood trends, and the conduct of Bollywood actors. Recently in an interview, he reacted to getting trolled for his ‘beef’ comment in an old video.
While speaking to Brut India, he told, “what happens is that people take things out of context. There’s a video clip, they are running, and they have edited the sound from it. In that video, I said, “Yes I used to eat beef, now I don’t eat beef. Okay, so they took out ‘don’t’ so it sounds like I used to eat beef and I eat beef. You know they did that but that’s fine. When I am in the game, I have no problems”

When asked who he refers to ‘They’, he said, “These are people, who don’t like you, people who are opposing you or people who want to defame you or ridicule you. And trust me from the bottom of my heart, I have no problems with that. I know which game I am playing.I know the rules of the game, I know how hurt I can get, that’s not the problem. So as far as the beef thing is concerned, it sounds as if “I used to beef” sounds as if every day I used to beef. So in India, there is no beef, you get buffalo. But now I experiment with Sattvic food.”
This is not the first time any celebrity has got trolled for beef comments. Earlier, during promotions of Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were not allowed by Bajrang Dal to enter Mahakal temple in Ujjain, due to RK’s old video where he spoke about eating beef.
