Vivek Agnihotri Supports 'Same Sex Marriage' Being Legalized In India; Filmmaker Says, ‘Not A Concept, It’s A Human Need, A Right’
Renowned filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri often makes the headlines for his controversial tweets and statements. He has been taking to his official social media handles to share his take on the ongoing matters in India. From defending his movie The Kashmir FIles to commenting on various issues, he is quite an active user who stays updated on current affairs. Now, he has tweeted in support of legalising same sex marriage in India.

Taking to Twitter, the 49-year-old director replied to a tweet where the Centre in their plea to the Supreme Court called same sex marriage “an urban elitist concept.” Something that is far removed from the social ethos of the country. In response, Agnihotri expressed how same-sex marriage is a human need. Not a concept, but a need, a right that “in a progressive, liberal and inclusive civilisation like Bharat, same sex marriage should be normal, not a crime.” ALSO READ: Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri Takes A Nasty Jibe At The Gandhi Family!
