During Valentine’s Day, actor Vivek Oberoi shared a video of taking a romantic ride with his wife Priyanka Alva Oberoi in the city. But soon Mumbai Police fined him for riding the bike without a helmet and mask on the streets of the city. Reportedly, he was penalised Rs 500 by the Mumbai traffic police after he shared this video. Post that, he recently took to his Instagram account to share a funny reel where he was seen sharing an important message of wearing a helmet while riding the bike but he added the video with a tinge of humour.
In the video, he is seen eagerly waiting for his omelette but instead gets a helmet on his plate. Concluding that one should wear a helmet and save their heads from being an omelette. Sharing the video on his profile, the PM Narendra Modi actor captioned with, “Agar bheje ko bachaana ho banne se omelette, while riding, make sure you always wear a helmet.”
As per a report in PTI, ‘the FIR was registered against him under IPC sections 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 269 (Negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) along with provisions of the Maharashtra COVID -19 Precautionary Measures 2020 and the Motor Vehicles Act,’ the official said. Similarly, right after he was booked by Mumbai Police, he recently shared another video on the photo-sharing app, showing his hilarious take on Mumbai Police’s e-challan.
In the video, taking a cue from the now viral ‘Pawri Ho Rahi Hai’ trend, Vivek Oberoi says in the video, “Yeh hum hai, yeh humari bikes hai aur yeh humari pawti kat gayi hai.”
