Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood. They always give fans major relationship goals. They have been dating each other for a long time. And now, if reports are to be believed, Farhan and Shibani are set to take their relationship to the next level. According to a report in BollywoodLife, Farhan and Shibani will tie the knot in March this year.
The couple plan to exchange wedding vows in Mumbai. They will keep the wedding low-key due to COVID restrictions and rising cases.
BollywoodLife quoted a source saying, "Farhan and Shibani were planning a lavish wedding in Mumbai on March 2022. However, now they will keep it low-key as the COVID cases have been rising once again and there are many Bollywood celebs, too, who have been tested COVID positive. And so the couple has decided to get married among friends and family."
"Farhan and Shibani are living together and they don't want to delay their wedding amid the pandemic, and so, they thought to keep it an intimate affair," it added. A source further informed that the couple has booked a 5-star hotel as their wedding venue. They have finalised Sabyasachi outfits for their special day.
Farhan was earlier married to Adhuna Bhabani. They divorced in 2017. They have two daughters Shakya and Akira.
On the work front, last year, Farhan announced his upcoming film 'Jee Le Zaraa' starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. Taking to Instagram, he shared a video and wrote, "Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra @katrinakaif @aliabhatt will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road."
