Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, has always made sure to deliver movies that are loved by fans all over the world. However, the last couple of months haven’t been easy on him as his dream project, Laal Singh Chaddha, failed to impress the audience. After the commercial failure of his recent film, Aamir went off the radar to spend time with his family.
Recently, the actor made his first appearance at an event hosted by his childhood friend in Delhi. During the event, he opened up about his future plans as an actor and shared that he would only produce his next film. Announcing his hiatus, Aamir shared that he is planning to take a year and a half break to spend quality time with his mother, kids, and family. He said, "When I am doing a film as an actor, I get so lost in it that nothing else happens in my life. I feel that I want to take a break, I want to be with my family, I want to be with my mom and my kids. I feel I have been working for 35 years."
The 57-year-old actor, however, made an exciting announcement. He revealed that he will produce the upcoming film Champions. While he was going to star in the movie, he made the decision to only produce it.
Speculations about the movie have been doing the rounds for a while now, and with this new update, cinema lovers are surely to be excited for any other announcements that will be made by the makers. Talking about producing the movie, Aamir shared, "I will be producing 'Champions' because I really believe in the film, I think it’s a great story." ALSO READ: SHOCKING! The film will be co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions along with Sony Pictures International Productions, India, and 200NotOut Productions.
