According to a report by Zoom TV Entertainment, she is planning on skipping the event to avoid ‘embarrassing questions’ the media might ask the cast regarding her co-star Simrat Kaur’s leaked intimate pictures and sleazy video on YouTube. As per the source quoted by the entertainment portal, “But yes she’s surely not going if it happens tomorrow as of now.” For the unversed, the trailer launch event will be held on Wednesday, July 26. Talking about the upcoming movie, it is sequel to the classic Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001). It followed the journey of Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) who falls in love with a Pakistani Muslim girl Sakina (Ameesha Patel). After they get married and have a kid (Utkarsh Sharma), Sakina is forced to go to her country by her father, leaving her family. The father-son duo then go to Pakistan to rescue her. The sequel will focus more on the father-son relationship between Sunny and Utkarsh. Set to release on August 11th, 2023, the movie is directed and produced by Anil Sharma.
