Bobby Deol who is in the headlines for his much-talked-about comeback film Race 3, is on cloud 9. He's been appreciated by the critics and fans have loved him in the third installment of the heist drama franchise. Speaking to DNA recently, the actor revealed that he "has to look glam," as those are the kind of roles people like him in.
Referring to his last film Poster Boys, Deol Jr says that his fans like him only in larger than life roles. "I did Poster Boys, which was so different from my image. People called and appreciated my work, but at the end of the day, I have to look glam," says the actor.
The actor has been facing this dilemma from the early days of his career. He says when back in the day, he would tell directors that he wanted to do slightly deglam roles, they would tell him, "Tu gareeb nahi lag sakta!"
He adds, "I started my career with massive films like Gupt and Soldier where I played highly stylised characters. So, people want to see me like that only."
Meanwhile, Bobby's latest flick Race 3 is raking in the moolah, it has collected Rs 140 Cr at the box-office.
