Later, the 26-year-old actor confirmed he is single and said it doesn’t matter who broke up with whom. When asked if he was still friends with ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ actress, he quipped, “I would hope to have her as a friend for the rest of my life. She is one of the most wonderful people that I have known. She is a sweetheart, she really is. She is genuinely a sweetheart and all pulpy questions aside, she is someone that is very dear to me and will always remain so.”
For the unversed, there were rumours of Ishaan and Ananya dating and soon they parted ways, however, they have never accepted their relationship in public. Reportedly their love blossomed on the sets of ‘Khaali Peeli’.
