Actress Janhvi Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to promote her upcoming film ‘Mili’, where she plays the role of a nurse. The Dhadak star is currently busy promoting the same and during media interviews, she has been making some candid confessions. In a recent interview, Janhvi was asked if she would ever be a part of a remake of her late mother Sridevi’s films. Even she was quizzed about if she would ever play her late mother in a biopic.
In an interview, the Roohi star pointed out that she feels that nobody can pull off to play her late legendary mom on the silver screen and thus no one should attempt to remake her mom’s iconic films. When asked if she would play her late mother in a biopic, Janhvi stated, “Sir woh bhi bahut lamba answer hai aur mujhe bhook lagi hai, aur mujhe rona nahi hai stage pe. Acha din hai toh avoid karte hai (Sir there’s a big answer for this and I am hungry right now, and I don’t want to cry on stage. Meanwhile, Janhvi’s forthcoming thriller Mili is an official remake of the Mathukuttyy Xavier Malayalam directorial titled 'Helen', which was released in 2019. Bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, Mili also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa. It will hit the theatres on November 4.
Besides this, she also has Mr. & Mrs. Mahi with Rajkummar Rao, and Bawaal co-starring Varun Dhawan in the pipeline.
