Internet has become the underbelly of crime, and the emergence of new technological advancements has prompted the circulation of deepfake videos featuring celebrities performing sleazy actions. While many thought Rashmika Mandanna was the last prey of the fake video row, Kajol was the new victim of AI technology.

The latest development comes after Rashmika’s fake video, created with malicious intent, went viral on the internet. The actress fell prey to the AI technology of 'deepfake', and she even penned a note demanding strict action against the culprits. Well, despite an ongoing probe by the Delhi police and the filing of an FIR in the case, there seems to be no advancement in the situation and users continue to share such videos. 

Days after Rashmika's deepfake clip went viral, a new video is now doing the rounds on the internet in which a woman with Kajol’s face morphed on her body, can be seen changing clothes on camera. 

Netizens were tricked into believing that the woman changing outfits in the video was Kajol herself. However, many later pointed out how the video of edited using AI for mischievous reasons.


As per a Free Press Journal report, the original video was actually made by a fashion influencer named Rosie Breen, who is known for generating content promoting body positivity.

However, in the video which is now going viral, Breen's face seems to have been replaced by that of Kajol. Enraged netizens came down heavily on the video and reported it on all social media platforms, urging others to not share it further and put an end to the fake video's circulation.

Meanwhile, Kajol is yet to issue a statement about the same.
