B-Town’s handsome hunk Kartik Aaryan lately has been making headlines for multiple reasons. Not to forget, a few weeks ago, he was in the news because of Sara Ali Khan’s comment her 'ex is everybody's ex' that she made on Koffee With Karan 7. Many assumed that her remark was for her ex-boyfriend Kartik. Now, the actor’s latest remark in an interview has gone viral on social media. Fans feel Kartik has taken an indirect dig at Sara with his “popularity on rapid-fire shows” comment.

Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor asserted that he is very proud of himself for being popular on rapid-fire shows. When asked one thing he is extremely proud of, Kartik replied, “That I'm popular among rapid-fire shows.” Reacting to the post, one netizen commented, “Did he mean the Ranveer thing or the Sara answer on KWK?” For the unversed, Sara graced the second episode of Karan Johar’s chat show KW7 with Janhvi Kapoor. During a rapid-fire round, KJo asked the Simmba actress why her ex is her ex and she said, “He's everybody's ex.” In fact, Karan also confirmed that Sara and Kartik were in a relationship in the same episode. In an interview with India Today, the director confirmed Sara and Kartik were dating saying that his couch is the manifestation of many love stories in Bollywood. “Because Katrina (Kaif) on this couch said that she thought she would look good with Vicky (Kaushal), then Vicky collapsed, and then the next thing we know is that they are married. Sara (Ali Khan) mentioned Kartik (Aaryan) and they started dating. Alia (Bhatt) has mentioned Ranbir (Kapoor) season after season and she is married to him today and is going to have his beautiful baby,” Karan was quoted saying.

There have also been reports of Kartik and Karan being at loggerheads. Things are not been well between them ever since the actor exited from his film Dostana 2.
