Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan became a heartthrob ever since he made his debut alongside Ameesha Patel in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. Over the years he has amassed a huge fan following, owing to his versatile acting chops, good-looks, amazing physique, flawless dancing, the list goes on. Termed as the Greek God of Bollywood, he left fans drooling with his every appearance. His father filmmaker Rakesh Roshan recently spoke about how he got into acting.

The veteran filmmaker recently graced the sets of Indian Idol 13, where the show celebrated ‘Rakesh Roshan Special.’ Contestants sang some of his iconic and chartbuster songs and even took him down the memory lane as he shared anecdotes from his professional as well as personal life. He was left mesmerised by the performances of the top 6 contestants. Bidipta Chakraborty left everyone speechless with her performance on 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' and 'Tanhai Tanhai.' Roshan heaped praises on her for singing two of his favourite songs, stressing on the fact that her voice reflects the 90s era perfectly. He went on to hope that there would be a day where she could sing as well as act. Bidipta went on to express her gratitude and revealed she had always been an admirer of Hrithik Roshan. The 73-year-old director recalled, “When Hrithik was in college, he had two options – either he pursues further studies overseas or he assists me in making movies. The decision was left entirely up to him, and he ultimately chose to work as my assistant in movies. My intention was for him to experience the same hardships that I faced during my own struggling days and learn from it.”

On the work front, Hrithik was last seen in Vikram Vedha alongside Saif Ali Khan. He will be next seen in Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone, the movie is said to be Indian cinema’s first aerial action movie and will be directed by War director Siddharth Anand.
