After
playing Sanjay Dutt on-screen in Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor will now work him in
Rajkumar Hirani’s third instalment of Munna Bhai. Yes, you heard that right! According
to the latest reports, Ranbir Kapoor will replace Arshad Warsi as Circuit in
the third party.
A source close to the makers told Filmfare, "Ranbir Kapoor's impressed everyone with his performance in Sanju . The makers believe Ranbir and Sanjay will share great on-screen chemistry considering their rapport with each other.”
Munna Bhai
M.B.B.S. (2003) and Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006) saw Arshad Warsi playing Circuit
in both the instalments of the franchise.
Talking
about Sanju- the film, broke all the records as it crossed 300 Cr mark in just
three weeks. SpotboyE.com editor Vickey Lalwani rated the film 3-stars. Here
are a few extracts from his review: “You can swear on your dearest person living that Rajkumar Hirani
couldn't have cast anybody else other than Ranbir Kapoor. That's the first
thought that comes to mind as the Munnabhai director's celluloid version of
Sanjay Dutt's life begins to engage you from the second reel (the start is a
bit off-tangent). A similar thought had crossed our minds when we saw Rockstar,
Tamasha and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and RK continues to be in top form, not erring
even once in any given frame.”
