WHAT?! Ranbir Kapoor Was High On Bhaang While Shooting With Deepika, Aditya And Kalki For The Song Balam Pichkari? Says ‘We Had A Blast’
Ranbir Kapoor reminisced about his shooting days of Balam Pichkari with Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin

Holi celebrations are just around the corner and Indian Idol 13 contestants celebrated the festival of colours with Ranbir Kapoor, who made an appearance as the special guest. The actor marked his presence to promote his upcoming film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ and he appeared to have a great time on the show. He enjoyed himself with the contestants while celebrating the festival of colours.
Following the performances, Ranbir reminisced about his shooting days of Balam Pichkari with Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin. Looking back at the old days, he shared, “I think we shot the song for 8 days. It was too sunny, with too many dancers, and it was very difficult, but when you get a good song, you get the energy from within, and you feel like performing it. In those 8 days of shooting - Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kalki, Deepika and I had a blast. We would drink Bhaang, hiding from everyone so that no one gets to know.”
Amid all the fun-filled Holi celebration episode, Superstar Singer 2 contestant Sayisha Gupta innocently quizzed Ranbir with a cute question which is sure to melt your heart.
She asked Ranbir if his beard pricks his newborn baby daughter, Raha, and the Animal actor replied, “I have grown this beard for the movie. Since my daughter Raha was born, she has only seen me in this look. I don't have the fear that my beard will prick her, but I do fear that she may not recognize me after I shave. She has this habit of only looking into my eyes while giving me a smile, and I believe that she has not really looked below my eye level. I am sure she will get used to my clean shaved look as well, but it will break my heart if she does not recognize me.”
The upcoming film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor and the film is all set to hit the theatres on March 8, 2023.
