The wikipedia page of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer Selfiee was vandalised by the netizens, they changed the name of the movie to ‘Tatti’
Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s much-awaited movie Selfiee couldn’t make the mark. Netizens brutally bashed the film on the day of its release and took the social media by storm with memes and funny takes on the film. Now, taking a step ahead, an anonymous netizen recently vandalised the wikipedia page of the movie. Not only did they change the name of the film, but they also wrote illogical information about it on the page.
While the page has been rectified the screenshot of the previous page has been going viral on social media. For the unaware, the netizens changed Selfiee’s name to Tatti, changed the director’s name from Raj Mehta to Spider Man. They also changed the name of the production houses to descriptive words that a toddler would use. Sharing the screenshot of the page, a reddit user wrote, “Wikipedia entries changed for the movie Selfiee. Redditors on the sub-reddit r/BollyBlindsNGossip went berserk looking at that screenshot. One said, “Man, why drag Akshaye Khanna through this shit lol.” Another said, “Why drag SPIDER-MAN into this let him solve crimes in the neighbourhood in peace lol.” Other said, “I went to see if it’s still there, they changed it but it still shows on the the Google page.” One commented, “lol why choosing Japan though?! budget 2 Rupees and BO 1. For the unversed, the movie was an official Hindi remake of the Malayalam film 'Driving License'. The original film starred Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu in lead roles. Directed by Raj Mehta, Selfiee released on February 24th. It is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Supriya Menon, Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Apoorva Mehta and Listin Stephen.
